Ready for Another No. 21?

A Montgomery County couple went out of town with assurances their two dogs would be safe at a fancy pet hotel. But as News4’s Chris Gordon reports, just one dog made it out alive. (Published Friday, Feb. 5, 2016)

When the Redskins signed free safety O.J. Atogwe, it made us wonder: what number would he wear?

Atogwe wore No. 21 with the Rams -- a jersey number that is sacred to the Redskins community. Atogwe eased our concerns with one tweet.

The issue has raised a good debate over whether or not we'll ever see another Redskins player wearing the No. 21. For this generation, that number will always belong to Sean Taylor, but will that change?

The Redskins don't retire jersey numbers. It's a practice that Dan Snyder has hinted might change, but technically a player could wear the No. 21 right now if they wanted.

What do you think? Are you ready to see another player don No. 21?
