A video posted to YouTube Thursday shows an angry Washington Capitals fan knocking over a female Pittsburgh Penguins fan after Wednesday's 2-0 loss ended the Caps' season.
Not only was the fan upset about the Caps' loss as he stormed along in downtown D.C., he also seemed perturbed about the Wizards being down by double digits to the Boston Celtics at halftime of what would be a 123-101 loss, putting Washington down 3-2 in that series.
The Washington Nationals' comeback 7-6 defeat of the Baltimore Orioles in the Battle of the Beltways was no consolation.
"I don't care about the Nationals!" he barked.
When he passed a few Penguins fans, he body-checked one of them to the ground.
“Don’t be so bloody happy about it!” the man screamed at her.
Apparently in defense of his action to onlookers, the man reasoned, "I didn't hit her, I just walked through her."
