Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan joined four children battling cancer to watch the Washington Redskins home opener.
The governor is currently being treated for B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
During Sunday's game, Hogan joined children ages 5, 6, 8 and 13 in the end zone to recognize September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The Redskins lost the game to the Miami Dolphins 17-0.
Hogan said earlier this month that he has completed two-thirds of his treatment and has two months left. Last month, Hogan said doctors told him that scans showed 95 percent of his cancer was gone.
