The Best Places to Celebrate New Year’s Eve

With the holidays quickly approaching, it’s time to go shopping, decorate your home, but most importantly, it’s time to plan your parties! Finding a good New Year's Eve spot in the city can be as difficult as finding parking in a rush hour, so don’t leave it to the last minute. We have selected the hottest clubs around the city, so you can have a stress-free New Year's Eve party this year.

  Lair Lounge
Located in Soho, the place resembles a chic French train station with an elevated DJ booth overlooking the entire floor. This year, Lair will be serving continuous cocktails for six hours and food by the celebrity chef Chris Cheung. The best part: watch the ball drop live in Times Square (from inside!) as you toast to the New Year! Key notes: Open bar from 9PM to 3AM / Doors open at 8PM / $75 general admission / 201 Lafayette St. / 212-334-5247

Cipriani
Care for a little bit of Italy with a white glove service? If you like privacy, luxury and beauty, enjoy this ultra private and unique New Year’s Eve bash. Cipriani will be offering its worldwide famous menu, six-hour premium open bar and a surprise DJ guest. Dance to a gala night in a classy room. Key notes: $150 general admission / 11 E 42nd St. / 212-499-0599

Kiss & Fly
Meatpacking’s Kiss & Fly is throwing a “sexy back” New Year’s Eve party. Feel as if you were in St. Barts or St. Tropez with a world renowned DJ rocking funky, hip hop, rock and dance hits. Key notes: $125 general admission / 409 W 13th St. / 212-255-1933

Greenhouse
Have a Green New Year! The eco-friendly and chic Soho club is going to make you feel like you're inside a funky tree-house. They are the first club to get a LEED certification. Everything in “the house” is regulated and reduced, helping the environment and party people everywhere. Key notes: $150 general admission / 150 Varick St. / 212-807-7000

Le Poisson Rouge
“The Red Fish” in the tank will welcome you as you enter this historic Art Deco space. Good music, an eclectic crowd and a great location to celebrate the New Year ahead. Key notes: $95 general admission / 158 Bleecker St. / 212-505-FISH
