NPR treks out to Prince William County to follow a real estate agent and his client as they shop around. Home sales have been up for the last six months, according to the story. “It’s a buyers market, but it’s a competitive buyers market. Good properties—they come into the market and they last only a couple of days and then they’re gone,” according to the agent.  And the regional expert NPR called in says “Maybe we’ve seen the bottom, or maybe we’re seeing the bottom.” Las Vegas, Miami, Sacramento, San Diego are experiencing similar upticks.

  • A New Home Salesperson I Tuesday, Nov 18 at 10:52 PM FLAG COMMENT I Work for a new home builder and sell in PW County. Activity has definitely picked up right after the election. People are looking to buy to be in by the end of the year or by spring. It is definitely a buyers market...and now they are actually buying!
