M&A Development and the Neighborhood Development Company are planning to build "affordable luxury" condos on W Street in Southeast D.C.
The 2, 3 or 4-bedroom units will start at $104,900 and will be divided between adjoining rowhouses. The condos will be surrounded by a secure fence and the land will include 21 parking spaces.
The homes are built and assembled off-site, then inserted into their respective building’s frame. The development had originally planned to open this fall, but NDC is now projecting a second quarter 2009 opening.
