Cookology 101

Recreation takes on a new twist when Cookology stirs up fun in the kitchen.

 

Listen up all you foodies! Tired of your drool messing up the couch when you watch the delicious dishes made on the cooking channel? Well get up, and get out to Dulles Town Center for the opening of a new cooking school that will have senses simmering just like salmon on the grill.

 

Cookology (kind of sounds like a college course, right?) is a recreational cooking school that offers educational and interactive cooking classes for people of all ages. Knowing that food is the glue (or should I say sauce) that bonds people together, instructors use their food-inations to create an endless amount of dishes that satisfy, educate, and entertain.

 

And get this! Adults are not the only ones blazing up the treats in the kitchen. Cookology offers classes for all age groups, from the mommy to toddler, grandma to teen. They even host family nights, where the whole gang can come in and get their hands dirty together making pizza or baking cupcakes.

 

Depending on the class content and instructor, most classes will start out with a sample of the food to be cooked and an accompanying wine, according to Cookology.com.
