Many people might not link the name "Bloomingdales" with the word "outlet," but that's about to change. The department store is opening its first bargain-priced outlet stores this summer and fall in an effort to attract value-conscious shoppers.
Virginia will be among the first areas to see one, along with New Jersey and Florida.
The outlet store will join others at Potomac Mills in Woodbridge. The new outlet stores will sell clothing and accessories for men, women and children. Expect a mix of clearance items from Bloomingdale's regular stores plus items sold only at the outlet stores.
