Residential Units to be Added to Lonely Atlas District

Metro area developer plans to bring 430 housing units to the H Street corridor

The H Street corridor will soon have more housing options.

A metro area developer is moving forward with a planned 430-unit condo/apartment complex near the end of the H Street corridor -- also known as the Atlas District.

With no firm completion date set in stone, ground is expected to be broken in early 2009, said the developer.

The Atlas District has seen a lot of recent business development including bars, restaurants, and live music venues. It's a new nightlife destination for many.
