Well, not in Forest Hills, Palisades, Kent, Berkley, Foggy Bottom, Burleith and the “Central District,” an area encompassing parts of Foggy Bottom, the West End, and other sections of downtown.

Those were the neighborhoods that escaped the nearly citywide downward trend, with home values drifting upward—but not by much—in 2010.

This morning’s Washington Postreports on home values being in “broad decline” across D.C., according to data released by the city government yesterday.

Those neighborhoods fairing the worst (with drops at 10 percent and above): Crestwood, Michigan Park, Petworth, Riggs Park, Eckington, Woodridge and LeDroit Park.
