Affordable Housing Coming to Downtown Bethesda

Hampden Lane will soon have more housing options for the middle class

Last week, the Montgomery County Planning Board approved the Edgemoor Phase IV Site Plan, which insures a new affordable housing development on Hampden Lane in downtown Bethesda.

The development is planned to include 12 moderately-priced dwelling units to a 5,350 square foot lot at 4917 Hampden Lane. Designed by MHG Architects, the housing complex will take the form of a four-story apartment building.
