Chef Eric Ripert, who has earned the coveted three Michelin stars and -- maybe more importantly -- has been a guest judge on "Top Chef," will be visiting the DC outpost of his Weekend Bistro (1190 22nd St. NW) tonight for a special book signing. His new book, "On the Line," gives readers a behind-the-scenes look at the history and day-to-day struggles and successes of his famed NYC restaurant, Le Bernardin.

RSVP for the signing tonight to reserve your book, and Ripert will gladly sign your book for free. Well, that is, after you shell out $35 for the book itself, or $50 for his previous book, "A Return to Cooking." But if you really want to make a night of it, select the $160 "Evening with Eric" dinner package, which includes a three-course a la carte dinner for two (alcohol not included), a copy of "On the Line," and the chance to meet Ripert and discuss his new book.

Then it's time to get cookin'.
