Calling all nightcrawlers -- the Nightmare on M Street bar crawl takes over midtown again this Halloween. Join thousands of other Washingtonians for a day (and a night -- it's 3 p.m. to 1 a.m.) of drinks and treats from a ghoulishly 13 (yes, unlucky 13) participating bars including Madhatter (1831 M St. N.W.), Ozio (1813 M St. N.W.), James Hoban’s (1 Dupont Circle N.W.) and Rumors (1900 M St. N.W.). (See the complete list online).

In order to keep the lines short and the spooky times rolling, Lindy Promotions will be limiting the number of tickets sold to the event. Tickets ($20) purchased online will let you skip the cover at any of the participating bars, plus provide endless specials until 1 a.m. Any remaining tickets will be sold at the designated registration locations: Mackey’s Pub (1823 l St. N.W.), McFadden’s (2401 Pennsylvania Ave. N.W.), and The Front Page (1333 New Hampshire Ave. N.W.).

For those of you who still have your costumes intact by nighttime, make your way over to Five before 10:30 p.m. to enter yourself in the costume contest ($1,000 prize, hello!).

Every bar with be stocked with drink specials and festive Halloween goodies all night long. Just make sure you pick up your wristband at the designated registration spots before 10 p.m., or else you won’t be having a frighteningly good evening.
