This Saturday, Aug. 29, the Pampering Junkies and D.C. Bag Ladies host The Pynk Feathers and Wellness Treasures Expo at Studio 10 (2828 10th St. N.E.). Join in on a day of fun, help raise breast cancer awareness and lift spirits with a good, ol'-fashioned girly time.

Expect a day of pampering, enlightenment and exercise with licensed wellness, spa and fitness pros. Indulge in facials, massages, aromatic foot soaks and makeovers. You can even take that belly dancing, Afro-Brazilian dance or yoga class you've always meant to try.

In between dance classes and massages, browse a marketplace full of local vendors' products. Guest speakers will also be on hand to discuss health issues while you nosh on healthy food and drinks throughout the day.

Pampering Junkies CEO Stephanie McKenzie explains that the group hopes to "promote breast cancer awareness and better health practices in women." Tix are $45; $5 of every ticket will benefit Look Good ... Feel Better, a national public service program dedicated to helping individuals with cancer.

Early access and registration is 11 a.m. to noon; the expo is from noon to 6 p.m.
