Local venues are springing into action after the unexpected death of Michael Jackson yesterday. The 9:30 Club (815 V St. NW) scheduled an 8 p.m. performance from MJ tribute band Who's Bad, only to have it sell out in a hot second.

Your next-best option (if you can squeeze in a pre-concert nap, perhaps) is a hastily scheduled second show. The moonwalking this time around begins at 11p.m., so dust off your "Thriller" jackets, and order your ticket before they sell out, too. It’s $15 to enjoy Michael’s timeless music and party with other fans who have countless memories from their growing-up years -- AKA, fighting with their parents for only wearing one glove and simply REFUSING to turn down that damn stereo!

Decked in Jackson clothing from head to toe, starting with the glitzy jackets all the way to the glittery glove -- hold on, we've gotta Moonwalk just a bit here -- the band will play three decades' worth of the King of Pop's chart-topping music. Hits such as “ABC,” “Beat It,” "Billie Jean" and “Thriller” are sure to “Rock Your World” once again.
