5/31: Free S'mores Gelato

Plus, Lo-Fi Electronica at Rock and Roll Hotel and the Hola Mexico Film Festival

CHILLY CHOCOLATE: The Ritz-Carlton Georgetown (3100 South St. N.W.) served up free s'mores last winter -- now they've switched to (wait for it) s'mores gelato. Nosh on a free mini cone of the housemade chocolate gelato with marshmallows and graham-cracker crumbs. Samples of s'mores-inspired cocktails are be available, too: Think chocolate martinis garnished with a marshmallow. It happens nightly, but now that it's Memorial Day, you have time to take a detour to Georgetown, right? 6:30-7 p.m.; free.

IS NICE: Lo-fi electronica masters Holy F*** play Rock and Roll Hotel (1353 H St. N.E.), generating music with everything from toy phaser guns to a 35 mm film synchronizer. Nice Nice and the Vita Ruins also perform. 8 p.m. doors; $12-$14.

WATCH IT: The Hola Mexico Film Festival is at E Street Cinema (555 11th St. N.W.) through tomorrow. Monday's selections include "Half of the World" (5:30 p.m.) and "Love on a WKND" 9:30. See schedule; $10.
