FUNNY AND FURRY: Kaleidescope Comedy Troupe hosts a comedy night to benefit Compassion Over Killing. Chow down on a vegan menu during the show at tapas spot Chef Tony's (4926 St. Elmo Ave., Bethesda). Doors 7 p.m.; show 8 p.m.; $10.

GOOD QUESTION: Man or Astro-Man? brings their vintage theatrics and surf rock to the Black Cat for a thumping good time. Also on the bill: Dex Romweber Duo and Nightmare Waterfall 8 p.m.; $15.

TINY THEATER: The Spooky Action Theater's production of "The Lost Ones" -- adapted from the Samuel Beckett short story -- stars one real-life actor (Carter Jahncke) and dozens of tiny homemade figurines. Yes, for real. Catch it at the Universalist National Memorial Church (1810 16th St. N.W.) through Sunday. 8 p.m.; $15-$20.
