It’s 20 nights of lights at the national zoo

Join the Friends of the National Zoo (FONZ) as they put on ZooLights, the second annual winter lights event. The event starts on Nov. 28 and runs through Dec. 30.

Over 50 zoo animal light sculptures will light up the D.C. night sky and range from tigers to giant pandas, naked mole-rats and Asian elephants. The light show is sure to provide entertainment for those of all ages. In addition to the light show there will be varying performers every night.

Tickets are $12 per person. FONZ members can purchase tickets for $6 or buy a family four-pack fro $20. The show is open Friday through Sunday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. from Nov. 28 to Dec. 14. It is open every night from Dec. 18 to Dec. 30, excluding Christmas and Christmas Eve.
