Feelin' tense after the traumatic events of the week? Or just drained from all that reality TV drama? Get off the couch and de-stress during Virginia Yoga Week. Well, we think it's only going to be de-stressing if you don't have to sit in I-66 traffic to get there, but that's a whole other issue.

Through Sunday, June 28, participating studios and independent teachers are offering one free class and one $5 class daily, plus a karma class or event to benefit a charity of their choice. Studios include Tranquil Space, Edge Yoga and Fitness on the Run.

Don't have time to make it to yoga during the week? Sunday, head over to the Market Square (202 King St.) in Old Town Alexandria for the culminating event -- an afternoon of free outdoor yoga from 3-5 p.m.

We don't know about you but we can't wait to get our downward facing dog on and let go of all that negative energy. Get excite to wake up Monday morning refreshed and relaxed ... that is, until work starts.
