WASHINGTON -- Twitter is abuzz with rumors that "The Real World" cast has arrived in D.C.

We Love DC picked up on the tweets from RealWorldDCNEWZ Tuesday afternoon when the cast was rumored to be arriving at Ronald Reagan National Airport.

Nathanmart went to "The Real World" house to stake out for We Love DC.

After 20-plus seasons of "The Real World" -- the show that ignited the "reality" TV explosion and sounded the death knell for music videos on MTV -- is all this excitement actual fan enthusiasm or hater posturing? We're baffled by the buzz but find our necks sore and our eyes dry from a case of the gapes.
