Given up on the find-your-soul-mate-in-a-bar plan? It's OK, because VH1 has your next step -- after, all they did help Flavor Flav and Bret Michaels sort out their lives. (OK, not really, but we can pretend.)

The stars of the hit VH1 show "Tough Love" are coming to D.C. Steve and JoAnn Ward's Crash Course in Love is a very special evening dedicated to helping you identify your best attributes in love and relationships. Aww! The fete is happening July 8 and 9, from 7-10 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton (1150 22nd St. N.W.).

So for a mere $150, you get a crash course in love, admission to the after-party, open bar privileges at said after-party -- and an EXTRA ticket to the after-party. So ... Is this event about love or getting drunk at the after-party?!

But, wait, there's more! For an extra Benjamin, add on a VIP meeting with Steve and JoAnn Ward, personalized dating advice, a three-month free membership to the Love Lab Singles Database AND get priority seating at the crash course. Um, $250 well spent? Maybe not, but there's always that open bar if you need to drink away the humiliation.
