”Ghetto” Bikini Girl Declined Job, Cites Racism

Don't "speak white?" Don't bother.

Bikini-clad beauty Melody Morales is suing managers at Times Square's Hawaiian Tropic Zone, who allegedly refused Morales a job after they said she was "too ghetto" to work at the restaurant.

Hawaiian Tropic staff told the former Hooters girl that they were declining her work because she "doesn't speak white" and has a "speech problem," as reported in the New York Daily News.

"I am not going to ruin my business with your Latin accent," one manager allegedly told Morales, as detailed in the lawsuit.

Morales told the Daily News that managers at the restaurant, which requires waitresses to wear skimpy, body-baring outfits underestimated her skills as a cocktail-toting bombshell.

"Not to brag, but I look good in a bikini," Morales said.

Morales' allegations come a week after former Hawaiian Tropic manager Giulietta Consalvo filed suit against the restaurant claiming that bosses bribed her to keep abuse by a general manager under wraps.
